Tutsch GmbH in Amberg is not only the proud owner, but also the 100th owner of the Paint PerformAir (PPA). The high-performance technical device was put into operation at the beginning of the year and has now been properly celebrated. Helmut Sigl – AkzoNobel’s responsible district manager – surprised owner Holger Tutsch and his employees with a specially created certificate and a PPA cake

Holger Tutsch, who is now the third generation to run the business, explains why he chose the device: The main deciding factor in choosing the Paint PerformAir was the now very high and ever-increasing energy costs. "The savings that can be made here are really enormous. I heard that from a colleague when I didn't have a PPA yet. He really raved about the device and when I ordered mine, I was of course really excited," says Tutsch.

Apart from energy costs, the PPA is noticeable in other areas. For example, when it comes to paint consumption, where savings are already evident. "Our painters also notice clear differences in daily use. These lie in the processing of the paint, the spray pattern or the amount that is applied. The feedback from users so far has been really positive. I of course hope that it stays that way," says Tutsch with a smile.
