Electric brake calipers - as good as new

The new brake caliper types offer quality at OE level and collectively cover more than 800,000 vehicles in Europe. With this range expansion, the Denmark-based independent remanufacturer of vehicle parts is further expanding its range of brake calipers for vehicles with electric parking brakes (EPB). It currently includes 176 part numbers and offers a range of spare parts for 48 million vehicles in Europe. The market coverage of automobiles with EPB is 95 percent.

Among the twelve new brake calipers, retailers and workshops will find a spare part in OE quality for, among others, the 2018 Mercedes-Benz S560, the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander and the new Eclipse cross PHEV. The range now also includes brake calipers for the 2019 Toyota C-HR Hybrid and 2019 Corolla Hybrid as well as for the Opel Insignia from 2017 onwards. Many of the part numbers in question were previously difficult to obtain from independent parts stores or at a much higher price. “Borg Automotive is now closing this gap,” says product manager Jakob Krarup. The company has more than 45 years of experience in remanufacturing and only remanufactures original parts in European production facilities that are ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certified. Last but not least, every product undergoes comprehensive end-of-line tests according to the manufacturer's specifications before delivery.
