According to the company, the “Schaeffler E-Axle RepSystem – G” is currently the only repair solution for e-axles on the market. The repair kit will be presented for the first time at Automechanisa Frankfurt from September 13th to 17th, 2022 using the example of a VW e-Golf. At the trade fair stand in the Agora open space, the company from Herzogenaurach wants to exhibit not only vehicle components such as the latest TriFinity wheel bearings or the iRWS rear axle steering, but also the 800-volt e-axle. “Sooner or later, they will all be relevant for workshops – and Schaeffler will provide the independent parts market with appropriate repair solutions in a timely manner,” says the company.

With the e-axle repair kit, the Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket Division believes it has a good chance of winning the race for the Automechanika Innovation Award. “Schaeffler is well prepared for the growing repair needs of hybrid and electric vehicles and has always brought new technologies and know-how from original equipment to the independent aftermarket,” explains Jens Student, CEO Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket, and continues: “With our intelligently put together repair solutions and digital service offerings, we support workshops in meeting the growing challenges of e-mobility and digitalization.”
