DAT supports swarm intelligence

The FabuCar Pro knowledge platform was created over the past three years. The idea is based on the principle of swarm intelligence: If someone encounters a professional problem, they can publish it on the virtual platform, which is regularly visited by many members of the same profession. In the case of FabuCar Pro, only registered users with verifiably completed training in the automotive industry are permitted.

The medium used is a platform accessible via smartphone. Here, any problem can be posted as a text message or short video, describing the affected vehicle as precisely as possible. Other users of the platform can also respond with suggested solutions in the form of texts and videos. In this way, many problems in everyday workshop life can be solved in a time-saving manner.

With the current release, DAT expands the functionality of SilverDAT 3 to include direct access to the FabuCar Pro knowledge platform. Anyone who has carried out vehicle identification in the SilverDAT 3 repair cost calculation, ideally via the VIN query, can immediately see whether entries for this vehicle already exist in FabuCar Pro and can be viewed. The information contained here is up-to-date, tried and tested and otherwise not available in this form.

By registering with FabuCar Pro, SilverDAT 3 users can also transfer their own problems or solutions to the knowledge platform. The DAT automatically includes the relevant data from the affected vehicle.
