Banner continues to run on Duracell
Banner has been producing and marketing Duracell car and commercial vehicle batteries with great commitment since 2013. The company is now reporting on the extension of the license agreement with the world-famous battery brand Duracell Automotive. The Duracell Automotive program “made by Banner” has been a success story for almost ten years. “Thanks to the combination of the world's best-known battery brand with the famous Duracell rabbit as an advertising medium with our know-how as a leading quality manufacturer of starter and on-board network batteries, we were able to open up additional markets and target groups for Banner with this premium program,” says Andreas Bawart, Commercial Director of the Banner Group. The Duracell customer promise 'Longlife - Performance - Power' is ultimately also fundamental for Banner, says Bawart.
To date, Banner Duracell batteries have been able to supply customers in more than 45 countries, primarily in the automotive parts and battery wholesale and battery retail sectors. The focus of sales, with a share of around 80 percent, is on continental Europe. The Middle East and Africa regions contribute around 20 percent of sales. “Our goal for the next few years is to further expand Duracell sales with a focus on Europe, where we still see great sales potential for the brand,” emphasizes Bawart. For him, the extension of the license agreement with Duracell Automotive is a nice confirmation that Banner is valued worldwide as a reliable partner with high-quality products.
