New management at LeasePlan

Dutch-born Maartje van Tongeren succeeds Klaudija Časar Torkar, who is dedicating herself to new tasks outside of the Ayvens Group. 43-year-old Maartje van Tongeren completed an MBA degree at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. She began her professional career at the ING Group in 2004. After various positions in purchasing, including at well-known companies such as Staples and Achmea, one of the largest financial service providers in the Netherlands, her career led her to LeasePlan Netherlands in 2015 as Procurement Director. She has been a member of the management team since 2019 and, as Director Service Delivery, is responsible for the service and operations departments as well as the company's approximately 200,000 managed vehicles.
