It's an unpleasant mix: on the one hand, fuel prices are at record levels. “Conventional driving in Austria has never been so expensive and electromobility so attractive as it is today,” says a current broadcast from vibe moves you. On the other hand, however, there are delivery difficulties: In addition to semiconductors, cable harnesses are now also missing from production, which exacerbates the availability problem for electric cars. “Production lines are at a standstill, employees are on short-time work and customers are sometimes waiting 15 months or longer for their dream vehicle,” continues the specialist for e-car subscriptions.

In the current market situation, private individuals and corporate customers who currently want to switch to an electric car would have a difficult time changing their drive system quickly using traditional forms of financing. With vibe moves you, however, a switch is possible within a few weeks, according to Lisa Ittner, CEO of vibe, emphasizes: "In order to enable as many people as possible to switch quickly, we promise flexibility. Anyone who orders a vehicle from vibe that can only be delivered in eight months, for example, will receive a comparable model from us by the time of delivery."

The same applies to existing customers if the delivery date communicated when the contract was signed is postponed due to global supply chain problems. “Due to our far-sightedly planned quotas, we can currently still deliver significantly faster than our traditional competitors,” emphasizes Ittner: “As long as our stocks last, we will do our best: those who need to be mobile
let’s make that possible.” 

A concrete example: Anyone who now orders a Skoda Enyaq (current delivery time in stores of 15 months) can decide: whether they drive the cheaper alternative, such as a Hyundai Kona Electric, until delivery - or use a higher-quality model, such as a Tesla Model 3, at a special price.

There is no down payment for the vibe e-car subscription. The fixed prices include all vehicle-related costs - from the vignette to tires and maintenance costs to insurance and even more. It doesn't matter whether a waiting period of one, five or 16 months has to be bridged - there is no minimum term in this case.
