Unterberger takes over BMW Netzer

After careful consideration, Manfred Netzer decided to sell his BMW business to Unterberger Automobile. "In the Unterberger family, we have found a partner who represents a similar company philosophy and will continue our traditional car dealership in our spirit - especially with regard to the employees. We are two family businesses that attach great importance to employee management, which is not least reflected in long-term service," explains Manfred Netzer, who will remain as operations manager for the newly founded company Unterberger Automobile GmbH & Co.KG. All employees will also remain on board.

The requirements in the premium automobile trade have continuously increased in recent years. While customers benefit from unprecedented model and powertrain diversity, car dealerships must overcome infrastructure, financing, staffing, training and administrative challenges. “Manfred Netzer is handing over to us an excellently managed car dealership, great customers and an excellent team,” say the managing partners Gerald, Dieter and Fritz jun. Unterberger from Unterberger Automobile. The integration of the BMW location in Landeck into the Unterberger Automobile Group enables the use of various synergy effects. "Our customers are the winners. All service, repair and warranty work for BMW and MINI can continue to be carried out at a high level here in Landeck. Sales also remain in the trusted hands of our sales consultant Stefan Scherl," emphasizes Manfred Netzer and Dieter Unterberger emphasizes: "Landeck customers continue to enjoy the competent customer service from their usual team and also have access to the much larger range of new, demonstration and used cars at Unterberger's 15 BMW and MINI locations Automobiles.”

The first measures for the Landeck location will concern the search for employees and the reconstruction as a sales center. “We are looking for a service advisor, automotive technician and a junior salesperson,” announce Manfred Netzer and Dieter Unterberger. As far as the revitalization of sales activities is concerned, the established structures of the Unterberger Group help to sustainably consolidate and expand the Landeck sales location. Over the last few decades, Unterberger has developed into one of the largest automobile dealers in Austria and southern Germany. With 21 locations as of January, it sells more than 9,000 new and used cars annually. Even 48 years after its launch, the company is 100 percent family-owned.
