Styrian Porsche world of experience
After around a year of construction, the new Porsche Center Styria was opened in Graz.

Styrian Porsche world of experience
The new Graz Porsche Center is the first Porsche Inter Auto (PIA) location in Austria where the Porsche retail concept “Destination Porsche” has been implemented. Customer service in the midst of the spacious ambience is provided by a 30-person team, consisting of five employees in sales and 25 in the workshop. Every year, 220 new Porsche brand vehicles are sold at the Graz location. More than 500 invited guests from all walks of life took part in the ceremonial opening on the evening of October 19th. Among those present were the Styrian Governor Christopher Drexler, rally legend Walter Röhrl, Porsche Holding Salzburg Managing Director Retail Rainer Schroll, Managing Director of the Porsche brand in Austria Helmut Eggert and PIA Austria Managing Director Harald Feilhauer. “We are also sending a clear signal towards stationary retail and are placing even greater focus on the role of people and advice when buying a car,” said Gerhard Monsberger, Managing Director of Porsche Steiermark, on the occasion of the opening.
A brand experience space was created on the area, which was expanded by 6,500 square meters, with an investment totaling 15 million euros. “The new Porsche Center Styria is the first point of contact for all Porsche customers in Styria and the largest single investment in the 50-year history of the location,” explains Rainer Schroll, who, as Managing Director, is responsible for the retail sector at Porsche Holding Salzburg. “This year we were not only able to celebrate 75 years of Porsche and 60 years of 911, but we can now also look forward to the opening of one of the most progressive Porsche centers in our entire Porsche Holding sales organization,” says PIA Austria Managing Director Harald Feilhauer. The new delivery zone, which is more like a living room than a garage, is particularly successful architecturally and makes every Porsche handover a special experience. The underground car park offers generous space for parking, and in the basement there is also an extra showroom for Porsche Approved used cars and a tire warehouse for 2,500 sets. “In order to offer the best possible after-sales service to the fortunately increasing number of existing and future Porsche customers, the capacity of the workshop including the attached plumbing shop and the parts warehouse were also significantly expanded to 4,000 square meters,” says Porsche Graz-Liebenau owner Gerhard Monsberger.
When building the new Porsche Center Styria, special attention was paid to sustainability from the start. This means that the Porsche Inter Auto in Austria has become a reference project for future conversions and new builds. What is particularly pleasing is that the “Lead Green Building” was certified gold by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) before it opened. “The new Porsche Center Styria will be operated in a completely CO2-neutral manner in the future,” explains Gerhard Monsberger. This starts with the roof with the maximum photovoltaic occupancy, continues through low-emission and more environmentally friendly quality materials in the building shell and a 'away from gas strategy' in the car paint shop and extends to a revolutionary energy storage and supply system for heating and cooling seven meters underground in the underbody range.
