For the third time in a row, Mazda wins in the “Medium-sized Brands” category at the Dealer Radar Austria 2024.

Mazda wins in dealer satisfaction
The 2024 dealer satisfaction survey, which is now available, once again brings a pleasing result for the long-standing brand leader. With 7.61 points in the overall ranking, Mazda once again took first place in the medium-sized brand category and was even able to improve slightly compared to the previous year. “The increase is very pleasing for us,” says Christian Heider, Mazda’s new managing director since October 1, 2024, and adds: “We have seen a lot of consistency and continuity over the years.” Mazda sets benchmarks for all brands for a total of seven factors, for example in delivery reliability or after-sales training. Compared to the competition, the sales promotion campaigns, support with marketing measures and the competence of the field service are positively highlighted.
Mazda is clearly ahead when it comes to relationship criteria, while all other brands perform below average here. Above all, personal contact, partnership-based cooperation and the ability to achieve targets are valued. "For us, willingness to engage in dialogue is crucial. You can present the most beautiful slides - if you don't live the partnership, it's no use," says Heimo Egger, who will be leaving Mazda Austria's managing director at the end of the year, and adds: "We're building on our dealer network!" Mazda also performs best among the medium-sized brands in the area of after sales. In almost all criteria - from guarantee and warranty processing to support for technical problems to the ability to deliver parts - Mazda is clearly ahead. Mazda sets a benchmark for all brands when it comes to the quality of after-sales training. "Face-to-face training takes place regularly at the Klagenfurt location. We are also increasingly conducting e-learning sessions that are kept as simple as possible," explains Christian Heider. A result that inspires: “We want to continue to deliver good results in the future,” Heider is already looking forward to the next dealer satisfaction survey in 2025.
