Leapmotor starts in Austria

Right from the start, Leapmotor is cooperating with 17 renowned dealers throughout Austria, including Opel & Beyschlag, AV NOE Gmbh, ÖFAG, Auto Hatzmann, Auto Rosenauer Thomas, Auto Linser, FSN GmbH, Eisner Auto, Autohaus Ernest Wipplinger and Eisner-Auto. The dealer network is intended to ensure that customers in all regions receive competent advice and technical support. "We are very pleased about our market entry in Austria. It is a significant step towards making affordable electric mobility a reality," explained Christian Bley, Leapmotor Brand Manager Austria. “Our goal is to increase the number of our partners to 25 by the end of the first quarter of 2025. By the end of the year, we would like to further expand this network and grow it to 35 to 40 partner companies.” Further information and a list of dealer partners can be found at www.leapmotor.net/at/dealer

“Another step is Leapmotor’s ongoing team building in Austria,” emphasizes Bley. "Caroline Maur has been responsible for marketing since the beginning of December and a sales manager will soon join the team. Our goal is to build a dynamic and high-performance team that will successfully establish the Leapmotor brand in Austria." At the end of September, Leapmotor International, which focuses on the global distribution of cost-effective high-tech Chinese electric vehicles (New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), opened order books in Europe. This milestone was reached just under a year after the joint venture was founded. At the same time as founding the joint venture, Stellantis also invested 1.5 billion euros to acquire a stake of around 21% in Leapmotor and to benefit from the expertise and agility of the Chinese electric car startup.

Leapmotor is the first vehicle to offer the purely electric premium D-SUV C10 with a robust exterior, generous space and a combined range of up to 420 km according to WLTP. The luxurious features include a panoramic glass roof, a high-resolution instrument panel and an infotainment system for an immersive and intuitive driving experience. The sales price minus the mobility funding for private customers from 34,000 euros is probably to be understood as a declaration of war on the competition.
