Change of leadership at Unterberger
After Klaus Kluckner took over sales management at the BMW Group Competence Center Unterberger-Denzel, Patrick Lener succeeded him as operations manager at Autowelt Unterberger Strass. The 39-year-old can look back on a long career at Scania, most recently as branch manager for the Inzing, Kirchbichl and Puch branches near Hallein with a total of around 100 employees. "With his experience in setting up and further developing sales and workshop strategies, Patrick Lener is the right man to manage the operations at Autowelt Strass. He also impressed us with his personality and proven leadership skills," explains Gerald Unterberger, managing partner of Unterberger Automobile. The Tyrolean family business, founded in Kufstein in 1976, has developed into one of the most successful automobile dealers beyond Austria's borders. It currently employs 790 people. 140 of them are apprentices who are being trained as body technicians, automotive technicians and in commercial professions. With 20 locations, the traditional company is one of the largest automobile dealers in Austria and southern Germany. Even 48 years after its launch, the company is still 100 percent family-owned.
