Dodge Charger with electric muscles

“The Dodge Charger Daytona SRT concept car drives like a Dodge, looks like a Dodge and feels like a Dodge – it just happens to be an electric vehicle,” says Stellantis, which now owns the Dodge brand. At the heart of the Charger Daytona SRT concept car are three groundbreaking and patent-pending features:

The Dodge Charger Daytona SRT concept car is equipped with an 800 volt drive system from Banshee, its vertical grille details are reminiscent of the style of the legendary Dodge Charger from 1968. The interior offers Dodge's typical driver-centered cockpit, the start button with a protective flap inspired by the fighter jet and the pistol grip gear lever are reminiscences of the living muscle car history. The concept car was recently unveiled at the M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Michigan, as part of the three-day Dodge Speed Week. “Dodge stands for muscle, charisma and performance, and the brand carries this claim on its shoulders into the BEV segment with a concept full of patents, innovations and performance features that embody the electrified muscle car of tomorrow,” said Tim Kuniskis, Chief Executive Officer of the Dodge brand – Stellantis.
