65 years Rainer
More than 500 guests came to the Rainer Megastore to celebrate the 65th anniversary with the Ernst & Lemberger family.

65 years Rainer
The highlight of the evening was the video presentation of the company's various business areas by the family members, as well as the greetings from the 93-year-old founder Burkhard L. Ernst. Another highlight was the car parade, where the Mazda 929 built in 1977 and the legendary convertible Mazda MX-5 (built in 1990) were presented to the numerous visitors. The following Austrian premiere of the new Mazda CX-80 was accompanied by a storm of flashbulbs. The hands-on stations were also popular with the guests, such as the 18-meter-long Carrera racetrack, where the guests fought exciting duels and were not shy about overtaking maneuvers.
The skills of the Rainer workshop professionals also met with great interest, as they explained at their own station what damage caused by stone chips can be repaired using WSS resin and why – despite all the “miracle cures” – the do-it-yourself method cannot keep up with the work of a specialist. The raffle, the proceeds of which went to children's cancer charities, was also very well received. The main prize was a weekend with the brand new Mazda CX-80 including an overnight stay at the IBIS Hotel Munich South. The original Vespa model, which consists of 1,107 Lego bricks, was not completely finished - probably due to the lively chats and the excellent flying buffet at the Rainers Hotel Vienna. “It doesn’t matter,” said the Rainer team, who now want to set about finishing the Vespa model themselves, which will be a small showpiece in the Rainer Megastore showroom in the future. Speaking of the workforce: “The employees deserve special thanks,” says the family: “Without the great commitment of the Rainer team, such a celebration would not have been possible.” Last but not least: “Congratulations to all the raffle winners and many thanks to everyone who came, we were very happy to be able to celebrate with our customers, friends and business partners – here’s to another 65 years.”
