Willhaben ignites the used car turbo

With the willhaben motor network and the multichannel platform 2trde, through which dealer auctions can be carried out individually, two strong players in the used car market have been working together since March 2023. Marcus Kraushofer, sales manager for the motor network at willhaben, is enthusiastic about the collaboration with the German automotive tech startup: "Together with 2trde, our dealers will now reach more than 70,000 potential B2B buyers. In times of new agency models, this is a great opportunity for dealers to optimize their B2B activities and achieve the best possible sales prices through aggregated bidding." willhaben and 2trde are pursuing the common goal of accelerating sales activities and thus strengthening their respective positions in the B2B used car segment. A few weeks after the launch, the cooperation is already bearing fruit: local sellers were able to successfully trade numerous vehicles internationally via the 2trde platform at good conditions during a test run.

CEO Johannes Stoffel and CTO Marcus Lankenau founded the multichannel platform 2trde with access to eight auction houses to give car dealerships more reach in B2B marketing and to digitize the auction market for used cars. The strategic partnership with willhaben is an important step in the company's history for 2trde, as Johannes Stoffel, Marcus Lankenau and Stefan Tomicic, Head of Sales at 2trde, explain in unison: "We are pleased to support the willhaben motor network and its B2B customers in optimizing both trade and marketing. In addition, we would like to make a contribution to ensuring that the export business of Austrian dealers continues to grow using our full service from A like system to Z like payment is inspired.” Marcus Kraushofer from willhaben adds: "Our collaboration opens up new avenues for used car dealers across borders. In addition, we are working in parallel on a solution that will make life even easier for our customers, even when we focus on domestic vehicle trading."
