want: added value with engines
In recent years, Alexander Reissigl, as team leader in business development, has played a key role in developing the willhaben strategy in the Auto & Motor sector. The native Tyrolean has been working as Head of Auto & Motor since February 2024 and is therefore responsible for the Auto & Motor sales and support team as well as the autoPro24 sales and support team, which is led by Marcus Kraushofer as team lead.
Alexander Reissigl gained valuable professional experience in the automotive sector during his bachelor's degree in economics at the Leopold Franzens University in Innsbruck and his master's degree at the renowned Hult International Business School in London. At Standard Profil, one of the largest manufacturers of sealing systems for the automotive industry, Reissigl learned about the complex value chain of car manufacturing in Istanbul and northern Spain. This was followed by positions in marketing and sales management at BTV Vier Länder Bank in Innsbruck and in corporate development and M&A at McKesson Europe, based in Stuttgart. Alexander Reissigl has had a very special relationship with willhaben and the willhaben motor network for years: In addition to mountain sports, his great passion is old VW buses - more precisely, his LT35, his T3 and numerous spare parts, all of which he got hold of on willhaben as a heavy user of the marketplace.
Alexander Reissigl, who joined willhaben in 2018, is looking forward to his new task: "Our main focus is on preparing for the unstoppable transformation in the automotive sector while continuing to provide our users and customers with the greatest added value. We want to further consolidate the willhaben motor network and our position as one of the largest vehicle exchanges in Austria." Sylvia Dellantonio, Managing Director of willhaben: "We are very pleased to introduce Alexander Reissigl as willhaben's new Head of Auto & Motor. As team lead in the business development area, he played a key role in developing our strategy in the Auto & Motor area as well as our new products in the willhaben motor network. I am impressed by his vision and his goals and look forward to our even more intensive collaboration."
