Groundbreaking ceremony for the Porsche Center
Porsche Inter Auto recently started its reorganization in Innsbruck with the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Porsche Center. The newest and most modern Porsche Center in Austria will now be built at Mitterweg 27 within the next 13 months. The company is investing a double-digit million amount in the construction. On a total of 3,320 square meters, customers will be offered an exclusive sales and service area for the Porsche sports car brand. Helmut Eggert, Managing Director of Porsche Austria: "This investment is an important step towards the further modernization of our sales network in Austria. It enables us to develop the important and prosperous Tyrol market even better and to continue to grow." The Mitterweg 26 & 27 location has existed since 1979. Since then, it has grown into the Porsche Center Tyrol and at the same time a combined location for all VW Group brands with around 90 employees. The second construction phase at the Hallerstrasse location will create the new PIA “Multibrand” store with all Volkswagen Group brands as well as a body center and a tire warehouse.
