New Austria boss for AutoScout24

In his role as managing director, Eckert will be responsible for AutoScout24's entire operational business in Austria. "AutoScout24 is a key driver of digitalization and a pioneer in the development of innovative products for users and car dealers. I am very pleased to be able to contribute my experience from the digital media sector and to significantly advance AutoScout24's success story with the Austrian team," says André Eckert. Eckert most recently worked at oe24.TV as Managing Director. Before that, he was managing director at Russmedia Digital for nine years and was responsible for the marketing of numerous internet and mobile portals. From 2006 to 2009 he was managing director of Wiener magazine and from 2001 to 2005 managing director of Antenne Vorarlberg. He began his career at vienna.at, where he was responsible for the entire advertising presence and product development of the city portal. In 2005 he took over the publishing office management of Quoka Publishing. Eckert was also Vice President of IAB Austria (Interactive Advertising Bureau) from 2015 to 2017 and President from 2017 to 2019.
