CarOnSale brings Lisa Merl as Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and wants to expand further.
New sales manager for CarOnSale
The Berlin used car marketplace for dealer vehicles is setting the course for growth and is bringing an experienced sales manager on board. Lisa Merl comes from the real estate portal Immowelt, where she set up and managed sales as Chief Sales Officer.
At CarOnSale, Merl strengthens the management team around CEO Tom Krüger and, in the newly created role, takes on sales responsibility for Germany and Austria as well as further European expansion.
"We are extremely proud and grateful to have found a strong addition to CarOnSale's management in Lisa Merl. Lisa is an experienced sales personality and has proven many times in the past how to build and lead successful sales teams," says managing director Tom Krüger, commenting on the new addition.
Lisa Merl began her career at the voucher portal Groupon before holding various sales roles at the portal operator Scout24 at both Autoscout and Immobilienscout. Since 2019, Merl has headed sales at Immowelt, one of the leading real estate portals in Germany.
“The spirit of the founding team, the enormous startup speed and the customers' need to digitize the huge B2B automotive market simply convinced me,” adds Lisa Merl about her decision to switch to CarOnSale.
