New management at Porsche Upper Austria

On June 1, 2025, Thomas Herndl will take over the helm of Porsche Inter Auto (PIA) Upper Austria from Franz Stöllinger.

New management at Porsche Upper Austria

Franz Stöllinger is retiring and handing over the reins to Thomas Herndl, who reports directly to Harald Feilhauer, Managing Director of Porsche Inter Auto Austria. Thomas Herndl, who was born in Salzburg and now lives in Innviertel, has 20 years of experience in the industry. He began his career at Porsche Holding Salzburg in 2005 in market research before moving to the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand, where he worked first as area manager and then as head of sales planning/product management. He later was responsible for a cross-brand area as head of department at Porsche Austria. From mid-2019 to the end of March 2025, he was responsible for the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand management at Porsche Austria. As of June 1, 2025, Thomas Herndl will now take over management of the Porsche Upper Austria association with the companies PIA Wels, PIA Linz-Leonding, PIA Linz and PIA Asten.
