Selling cars directly over the Internet - dealers can now do this via one of the large online used car exchanges. Autoscout 24 has introduced a corresponding function in Germany. Next year Austria will probably follow suit.

In fact, this means that prospective buyers can now raise their hand online for a car, i.e. press the buy now button. In Germany, a test phase is currently running until the end of the year. The procedure is then evaluated. Jochen Jakopitsch, sales manager at Autoscout 24-Austria, said in an interview with KFZ Wirtschaft that the test phase in Germany was going well and that he assumed that the function would also come to Austria next year. The use is optional for the retailer, meaning: he can only use it if he wants to.
