AutoCare is repair cost insurance that can be taken out as an attractive combination product together with a financing agreement from Santander Consumer Bank. For new and young cars, the term of the insurance begins immediately after the factory or manufacturer's warranty, and for used cars (outside of the warranty) when the vehicle is delivered. Full flexibility is guaranteed: the term of AutoCare can be selected regardless of the financing term and can be 24, 36, 48 or 60 months. This means vehicles with AutoCare are protected for up to five years, which far exceeds the industry standard. This also applies to the scope: Autocare covers 336 components in 16 assemblies, including the most important and cost-intensive components. Components of hybrid and electric drives are also included. The claims settlement and processing is carried out using the tried and tested CarGarantie services, so that there is no effort for the retailer. AutoCare can be taken out for cars up to 8 years old after initial registration.

In addition to customer loyalty and thus new after-sales opportunities, this results in additional income in the used car business. Workshop utilization is improved and retailers are also protected from risks caused by warranty claims.
