Roland Bamberger, managing director of Ibex Web GmbH in Obertrum am See, founded the manufacturer-independent platform e-autovergleich.com to support car buyers in choosing their electric vehicle. The comparison portal initially features more than 170 electric cars with current prices as well as all vehicle data such as range, features and charging times. Bamberger sees a great need for transparent information on electromobility. “The range of different vehicles, equipment and charging options is constantly increasing, and many interested parties feel overwhelmed by this.” This is where the new comparison portal from Obertrum wants to start. “We want to bring clarity to the industry and our offer is aimed at people who are dealing with electromobility for the first time.”
In the next step, the different charging options as well as a comparison of charging cards, wall boxes and charging cables will go online. Specialized e-car dealers are also presented on the platform. Sharing experiences with specific vehicle models is also welcome. Drivers of electric vehicles can already publish their reports as reviews and upload images of the vehicles. The content is subsequently supplemented with editorial test reports, and a special blog deals with the prospering world of e-mobility.
