The Pongau family business Auto Pirnbacher, which was founded in 1980 by Helmut Pirnbacher and is now run by the second generation, has opened an additional company building with a total usable area of ​​around 4,500 square meters. One of the most modern car dealerships in the state of Salzburg was created. In addition to Mitsubishi, Renault, Suzuki, MG, Dacia, Isuzu and Peugeot, the Hyundai brand is now new to Auto Pirnbacher's range of vehicles. The company sells around 1,200 new and used vehicles every year. 

Moderne Neubau

Managing Director Alexander Moldan: “With a total of eight car brands, we can offer our customers a wide range, including in the area of ​​increasingly important electromobility.” The share of electric vehicles sold is currently around 15 percent. The family business invested around seven million euros in the new building. More than two million euros went to climate protection. A groundwater heat pump heats and cools the entire building. A photovoltaic system with an output of 180 kilowatt peak supplies, among other things, 30 charging stations for electric vehicles. Six of the charging stations can also be used by the public. 

One of the most beautiful areas in the new company building is reserved for employees as a lounge and break room. It is located on the upper floor and from the large roof terrace you have a wonderful view of the mountains. “It was a conscious decision to make the best space available to our employees,” explains Moldan. “You should feel particularly comfortable during breaks and recovery periods.” As part of the company's expansion, new employees were hired. The company employs a total of 47 people, ten of whom are apprentices. They are still looking for additional painters, plumbers, mechanics, warehouse workers and salespeople.
