Since May 20, 2023, you have been legally obliged to register a corresponding OBD reading device for OBFCM data transmission in your §57a assessment center with the ZBD through a one-time entry in the EBV assessment program.

Sie sind bereits seit 20. Mai 2023 rechtlich verpflichtet, ein entsprechendes OBD-Auslesegerät zur OBFCM-Datenübermittlung in Ihrer §57a Begutachtungsstelle durch einmalige Erfassung im Begutachtungsprogramm EBV bei der ZBD zu registrieren.

You can use the following 3 steps to check whether your OBD device has been correctly registered with the assessment body:

Step 1: Click on the “Toolbox” on the Automotive Services overview page.

Step 2: In the “Device Management” tile, select “Open Devices”.

Step 3: If your OBD device is shown in the device list with the correct serial number and with a checkmark next to “Active” and “Registered”, you have registered your OBD device correctly. Congratulations!

Notice: Please note that although correct registration of your OBD device is a necessary prerequisite for the transmission of OBFCM data, it is not the only prerequisite for this. The detailed instructions for registering your OBD reading device can be found free of charge at OBFCM.at under point 3 “CHECKLIST FOR EBV USERS”.
