EBV tip: Smooth oil management
If the oil dispensing system is connected to the digital merchandise management system via the asanetwork interface, not a drop of liquid gold is lost.

EBV tip: Smooth oil management
Oil changes are one of the essential services provided by car dealerships and vehicle repair shops and are a significant source of revenue. With the growing variety of drive systems, the range of lubricants is also becoming larger and oil management is becoming increasingly complex. In order to make ordering, storing and dispensing the required quantities of oil as efficient and time-saving as possible, it is recommended to network the oil dispensing system with the digital merchandise management system or DMS. asanetwork provides the appropriate interface for this.
Against the loss
Frank Beaujean, managing director of "asanetwork gmbh", explains the advantages: "In the past, the workshop employees carried out oil management on demand with a clipboard and handouts - the consequences were bottlenecks in reordering and a lot of wastage." Since the major DMS providers and the manufacturers of oil dispensing systems have been able to exchange information via asanetwork, leaks and sales losses in oil management have become a thing of the past. Beaujean explains the process in detail: "In the DMS, an order with the item oil change is recorded for a vehicle, the oil dispensing system receives the information about the oil quantity via the asanetwork interface. Once the mechanic has filled the precisely defined amount of oil, the information is automatically transferred back to the DMS system via asanetwork, the stock level is updated and the position is written onto the invoice." Conclusion: All uncertainties about the type and quantity of oil have been cleared up, the oil change is completed in record time and loss is a thing of the past.
Profit through digitalization
More and more workshops and car dealerships are relying on digitalized processes because they have recognized their positive influence on sales development. For example, Porsche Inter Auto, which has connected its oil management system to its in-house IT solution CROSS 3 via asanetwork. All workshops that use the EBV PREMIUM package, which already includes an asanetwork license, also benefit. All you have to do is install the central communication software NETMAN 4 and register it online. The user then receives an activation code that gives them free access to asanetwork. Frank Beaujean summarizes: “asanetwork closes the digital gap between the DMS and the workshop.”
