EBV tip: The control center of the digital workshop

The §57a check is a business foundation for many domestic workshops, which simultaneously promotes utilization and customer loyalty. The Austrian business publisher has the functionality of the EBV However, we thought further than just developing a program that handles the §57a check easily and securely. The EBV takes over vehicle and customer data from workshop programs and DMS systems via an interface. This vehicle data can be checked quickly and securely via the ZBD and the interface to the registration database and updated if necessary. Changes to the vehicle are recorded in a time-saving manner and stored in the history. The vehicle master can also be used for test orders and in the test drive license plate app to create driving commands - this makes work processes much easier.

Automotive services with EBV are already an essential part of the IT landscape in the workshop and will be even more so in the future. Through the interface from EBV to Workshop-Net (formerly ASA), various workshop devices can be fully integrated into the process of creating reports. This means that measured values from brake testers and emissions testers are automatically taken and recorded in the report. This means fewer errors occur during data transfer, and in the event of a revision, all measurements are saved electronically and can be accessed. In addition, the §57a service can be used to store notifications of workshop equipment - including information about when the next calibration or inspection is due. All of this means that the workshops can carry out more precise §57a assessments, in a shorter time and with a lower error rate. In addition, the Netman, which is part of the Premium Automotive Services package, can be further integrated into everyday work. If you combine Workshop-Net with the Netman with an oil management system, for example, only the amount of oil that is actually needed for the vehicle is dispensed. This reduces waste and immediately increases workshop profits. And it reduces the error rate again because only the right oil is dispensed - based on the stored vehicle data. The delivery quantity, including the type of oil, is then conveniently transferred to the customer order and invoice via the interface in a DMS system. This means that the workshop operator can quickly and easily carry out a target and actual comparison in order to immediately identify any potential savings. The interfaces of the Automotive Services and in the Workshop Net are constantly being expanded and ensure that the Automotive Services become an easy-to-use control center in the networked digital workshop. With full cost control and lower audit risk than ever before.
