According to the AutoScout24 trend survey, the vast majority of e-car drivers are dissatisfied with the e-infrastructure.

Bad marks for e-infrastructure
As the current AutoScout24 trend survey shows, buying an electric car is currently conceivable for 55 percent of Austrians. What the study also shows, however, is that the charging infrastructure is currently still viewed critically. Despite the massive expansion, it is currently not viewed particularly positively. Just 13 percent say the e-infrastructure is very or somewhat good (3 percent very good, 10 percent rather good). In contrast, 44 percent rate it rather not well (27 percent) or not at all (17 percent).
What's interesting is that anyone who can imagine buying an electric car sees the situation much more optimistically than those who don't want to get from A to B using electricity. 20 percent of those interested in buying an electrically powered vehicle rate the infrastructure as rather good or very good. In contrast, only 4 percent of those who refuse to use electric cars say that the infrastructure is good. Age also influences the survey results. A fifth of 18 to 29 year olds rate the infrastructure as good. The skeptics are at home in the over 50 age group. Here just 7 percent give a good grade.
