Presidential election at ARBÖ Salzburg

At the state conference, the ARBÖ Salzburg set the course for the next five years. Manfred Gruber was unanimously re-elected as president of the regional organization at the Austria Trend Hotel Salzburg. The vice presidents Isabell Groß and Sabine Klausner as well as the vice president Gerhard Bogensberger were also unanimously elected to their respective positions. “I would like to thank all delegates for their trust and will continue to be active for the ARBÖ Salzburg with enthusiasm and drive in the coming years,” says Manfred Gruber happily on the occasion of his re-election. In the presence of Hannelore Schmidt, local councilor for the city of Salzburg, Peter Eder, president of the Salzburg Chamber of Labor, Peter Rezar, president of the ARBÖ federal organization and Gerald Kumnig, ARBÖ general secretary, the around 40 participants at the conference looked back on the successful reporting period. In the past five years, Salzburg technicians have been called to a total of around 28,000 breakdowns and 12,000 towings. In addition, they carried out 76,000 §57a assessments and 330,000 other technical services such as climate checks or repairs.

President Gruber is particularly pleased by the investments that have been made in recent years. The test center in Saalfelden was newly built, as was the state headquarters with an attached test center in the city of Salzburg. As part of the state conference, Manfred Gruber looked optimistically into the future: "Mobility is currently changing more rapidly than ever before in history. This affects people's mobility behavior, but also technological progress. We as a mobility club have to keep up with all these developments and support people on this path in the best possible way. We can do this best with highly trained and motivated employees, customer-oriented service offerings and a modern infrastructure that corresponds to the spirit of the times."
