Björn Scheel, who has a degree in industrial engineering, is now joining Bernhard Niklewitz (Head of Corporate Control, CEO/CFO) and Michael Kümmell (Head of Marketing, Sales & Customer, CCO) in the management board of the group based in Wiesbaden. Scheel has many years of international experience in the areas of automotive, mechanical engineering, services and logistics. At the textile service provider Mewa, he succeeds Ulrich Schmidt, who moved to the supervisory board at the end of the year. As head of the Production & Logistics division, Björn Scheel is responsible for the further development of operational processes and the implementation of successful logistics for Europe-wide deliveries to around 200,000 B2B customers.

Der studierte Wirtschaftsingenieur Björn Scheel verstärkt nun neben Bernhard Niklewitz (Vorstand Unternehmenssteuerung, CEO/CFO) und Michael Kümpfel (Vorstand Marketing, Sales & Customer, CCO) das Führungsgremium der Unternehmensgruppe mit Sitz in Wiesbaden. Scheel weist langjährige internationale Erfahrung in den Bereichen Automotive, Maschinenbau, Dienstleistung und Logistik auf. Beim Textildienstleister Mewa tritt er die Nachfolge von Ulrich Schmidt an, der Ende des Jahres in den Aufsichtsrat gewechselt ist. Dort verantwortet Björn Scheel als Vorstand des Geschäftsbereichs Produktion & Logistik die Weiterentwicklung der Betriebsprozesse sowie die Umsetzung einer gelungenen Logistik rund um die europaweite Belieferung der rund 200.000 B2B-Kunden.
