Stellantis Austria announces the appointment of Markus Wildeis as the new Managing Director for the Austrian market.
New boss at Stellantis Austria
Markus Wildeis has been successfully working in the automotive industry for more than 30 years. After ten years of various management positions in the automotive retail sector, the trained master mechanic worked in various national and international management positions for the FCA Group since 2008 before leading FCA Austria GmbH as Managing Director until 2021. Most recently, he led the successful reorganization of the Stellantis national companies in Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Greece and some Balkan countries.
As of May 2, 2023, Markus Wildeis took over the management of the Stellantis Austria import organizations, which include the entire automotive import business of Citroën Österreich GmbH, FCA Austria GmbH, Opel Austria GmbH and Peugeot Austria GmbH, with their automobile brands Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Citroën, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Jeep, Opel and Peugeot. Silvia Rieger, previously responsible for the Stellantis Austria import organizations, will continue her career within Stellantis. She is moving to the Stellantis Commercial Vehicles Business Unit and will be responsible for global brands commercial marketing animation.
