In June, Garanta Versicherung, together with Nürnberger and Merkur Versicherung, invited people to the traditional golf tournament for a good cause.
Golf for the good stuff
This year, the Schloss Pichlarn Golf & Country Club in the Ennstal was the venue for the charity golf tournament, which has been organized regularly for many years. Garanta chief representative Heinz Steinbacher is pleased about the participation of the numerous business and sales partners: "It's nice to see that many participants have been supporting our tournament for years and are thus making a contribution to ensuring that charitable organizations can carry out their important work. With the entry fees and additional donations, we were able to raise an amount of 21,000 euros this year."
The Badhaus in Leogang will be the recipient of a donation of 10,000 euros this year. People in physical, emotional or social acute or emergency situations are supported there.
In addition, the Licht ins Dunkel emergency aid fund will receive financial support of 11,000 euros.
Thanks to the charity golf tournaments, a total of over 150,000 euros have been donated to social institutions in recent years.
