Information get-togethers for car companies in Salzburg

After a 2-year break due to Corona, the Chamber of Commerce officials in Salzburg are once again providing first-hand information to the vehicle companies in the regions about hot topics at regular meetings.
There is enough to discuss. The domestic automotive industry is currently struggling on many fronts. Delivery difficulties among automobile manufacturers and the associated declining sales figures, loss of sales and staff shortages are just some of the problems that are slowing down economic development. In addition, there are new EU legal frameworks and changing rules between manufacturers and sales partners.
"We are in constant contact with industry representatives at EU and federal level and want to pass on this advance in knowledge to our colleagues. Experiences in different areas are also exchanged and planned strategic steps are discussed," says Josef Nußbaumer, chairman of the Salzburg State Committee for Vehicle Trade.
But current developments in electric and hybrid vehicles, e-subsidies, the decline in the supply of used cars, the complex calculation of the new NoVA and practical legal tips are also regular table topics. The start of this series of information events recently took place in Tennengau, at the Gasthof Langwies in Vigaun. Further motor vehicle get-togethers are planned in Flachgau (Eugendorf), Pongau (St. Johann), Lungau (Tamsweg) and Pinzgau (Maishofen). The regulars' tables are a joint initiative of the state vehicle trade committee and the automotive technicians' guild.
