The team behind the Kurz Scribos solutions, together with the BMW Group, brought the first digitally verifiable hologram strip onto the market - an innovation that offers a previously unattainable level of protection. The digitally verifiable hologram strip secures the BMW Group's extensive global spare parts network with over 40 million parts in circulation. The new high-security feature can only be verified by trained professionals using a special authentication app, ensuring an additional layer of protection against product counterfeiting.

New level of security

The digitally verifiable hologram strip represents a breakthrough in anti-counterfeiting and offers a completely new level of security for original replacement parts. Developed by the experts behind the Kurz Scribos brand, the solution combines state-of-the-art hologram technology with digital verification. Dynamic optical effects that change under certain lighting conditions make unauthorized reproduction impossible. The multi-layered security elements such as microtext and hidden markers can only be detected with special inspection tools. Only authorized professionals have access to the authenticity check, which is integrated into a special verification app. The security solution developed exclusively for professional use is intended to make it impossible for counterfeiters to imitate or manipulate the verification process.
