Schaeffler wins prize for digitalization

Schaeffler Digital Solutions GmbH, a subsidiary of the Schaeffler Group based in Chemnitz, has received the annual Best of Industry Award 2024 from the trade magazine MM MaschinenMarkt in the category “Best of Manufacturing: Networked Systems” with its software platform autinityDAP (Data Acquisition Platform). The software processes data from machines, controls and sensors in an application and thus increases the efficiency of machine parks by predicting unplanned machine downtimes. The prestigious award recognizes Schaeffler's innovative strength and its goal of a fully digital factory that works efficiently, flexibly, autonomously and sustainably.

Digitalization of production

We are very proud of this renowned award and the vote of the specialist audience." autinityDAP enables efficient collection and provision of data for various apps and services. Thanks to the open interface, third-party systems can access the collected data, which allows flexible further processing and integration into existing production environments. With the in-house developed software, all machine and production data is recorded on a uniform platform, eliminating the need for multiple networking devices.
