Renault Austria under new management

With effect from March 15, 2022, Martin Labaye will be the new General Director of Renault Österreich GmbH. In this role he succeeds Thilo Schmidt, who will become Managing Director of Dacia Deutschland and member of the Board of Directors of Renault Deutschland AG on March 15th. Martin Labaye joins Renault Austria from Renault Adriatic, where he worked as marketing director for several countries.

After studying engineering, Martin Labaye, a French native, began his career in the Renault Group in 2010 as Sales Forecast Manager for France. He then took on various positions in the Sales Supply department; From 2015 to 2019, he was responsible for vehicle delivery planning for the Renault and Dacia brands in the French domestic market, before being appointed Marketing Director Renault Adriatic.
