Jeep hides Easter eggs in the desert
The Easter Jeep Safari in the Moab Desert in Utah is a must for American Jeep enthusiasts. People traditionally meet where the vehicles and their owners feel particularly comfortable: in the wild. And the manufacturer itself, which now belongs to the Stellantis Group, always has its hottest future studies with it.
This week (the event runs from April 9th to 17th) the American off-road brand is once again showing a few spectacular concepts, some of which are intended as pure one-offs, while others serve as a source of inspiration for future models.
And – how could it be otherwise – there is a way around electromobility here too. The designers have further developed the Wrangler Magneto electric off-road vehicle and, above all, improved its battery. The result is the Jeep Wrangler Magneto 2.0 Concept, which also looks great.
The latter, of course, applies to all Jeep studies. This also applies to the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk PHEV Concept, which transforms the Cherokee 4xe plug-in hybrid into an authentic off-roader.
The Jeep '41 Concept is a tribute to the legendary Jeep Willys, which was used by the US Army 80 years ago. And here too, a plug-in hybrid powertrain with 380 hp should not be missing in 2022.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary (the first Rubicon was presented in the summer of 2002), Jeep has now developed a Wrangler Rubicon with a 6.4-liter V8 engine including active sports exhaust systems.
In addition, a few extreme off-roaders were partly designed specifically for the event. These include spectacular studies such as the Jeep Birdcage Concept by JPP, the Jeep Bob Concept or the Jeep D-Coder Concept by JPP.
