Actually, the company motto is “Hennessey makes cars go faster”, more precisely “Hennessey makes fast cars go faster”. The tuning company Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE), founded by John Hennessey, makes super sports cars a little sportier, to say the least.

But the small-series manufacturer from Sealy in Texas also has the pick-up trucks that are so popular in the USA in its repertoire. And because everything is bigger in Texas, you can't afford to miss out on this. The Hennessey Mammoth 1000 6×6 TRX, which is based on a Dodge RAM TRX, is particularly powerful. In Sealy they stretched the already powerful performance pickup to 7.19 meters and screwed a second rear axle underneath. Both rear axles can be locked.

The chassis has Bilstein components, and 37-inch Toyo all-terrain tires are mounted on the 20-inch rims. The drive is provided by a 6.2-liter Hellcat V8, powerfully inflated by a compressor, which now has a whopping 1026 hp instead of the standard 717 hp. It also delivers a force of 1314 Nm (433 Nm more than in the series) to the road.

Hennessey has given the colossus a price tag of 449,950 US dollars (the equivalent of around 415,000 euros).
