The cooperation between ARBÖ and BMW will continue, the ARBÖmobil fleet has now been equipped with new 2-series BMWs.
2 Series BMW for ARBÖ members
BMW has been equipping the ARBÖmobil fleet in Styria, Carinthia, Salzburg, Tyrol and Vorarlberg for more than nine years. The cooperation with BMW Austria and AutoFrey in Salzburg has now been extended again, 27 BMW X1s have been exchanged for 2-series BMWs. The vehicles can be used free of charge by ARBÖ members for 24 hours, subject to availability, if vehicles are not repaired immediately after a breakdown or repair. "We are very pleased that we can once again offer our members BMW brand vehicles as replacement vehicles. This enables our members to have a comfortable and high-quality driving experience and underlines our commitment to first-class service," said ARBÖ Secretary General Gerald Kumnig on the occasion of the handover at AutoFrey on Alpenstrasse in Salzburg, at which the Managing Director of BMW Austria, Alexander Bamberger, was also present. Josef Roider, Managing Director of the AutoFrey Group, is also pleased about the continuation of the cooperation: "With the handover of these 27 vehicles, we are providing a modern and reliable fleet for customer replacement mobility. The partnership between ARBÖ and AutoFrey stands for mobility, service and quality - values that are particularly important in roadside assistance."
Comfortable petrol engines
The new ARBÖmobiles are BMW 2 Series and, in addition to the latest technology and a high level of driving comfort, also offer a dynamic driving experience and first-class safety thanks to driving assistance systems. The vehicles are equipped with an automatic transmission and are powered by a 3-cylinder gasoline engine with 122 horsepower. For Gerald Kumnig, the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer is the optimal vehicle for the required area of application, as he concludes: "The new ARBÖmobiles offer enough space for the different needs of our members. At the same time, the petrol engine is equally economical, safe and dynamic, and thus combines the characteristics that we would like to offer our members."
