Several thousand participants from the automotive industry have already been trained. In the future, the training facility will be led by a new director. Christian Winkler (47) will be responsible for the Garanta Academy with immediate effect. Winkler has been working for the company for ten years and has training and further education in the areas of marketing and communication. The enthusiastic trail runner is currently pursuing a university degree with a focus on automotive. "Income from insurance brokerage is becoming increasingly important for the car dealership. Whether it is the car dealership owner himself or one of his employees: with sound training in the motor vehicle insurance sector, it will be easier to turn the pure car customer into a full customer of the car dealership," says Winkler. He points to the numerous training offers that are tailored to the IDD further training requirements.
The Garanta Academy began with individual training courses at the Salzburg general headquarters. Due to demand from the regions, they soon began offering seminars in the federal states. Many of these events were held in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce, such as the insurance training courses at the master courses at WIFIs or at vocational schools. An internet platform was developed specifically for Garanta car dealership partners, which makes it possible to learn the training content online. "With a free access code, users can log in to the Garanta homepage and work through the individual modules (general insurance, motor vehicle liability insurance, motor vehicle comprehensive insurance, passenger accident insurance, legal protection insurance, vehicle registration, damage report) conveniently from the computer in the car dealership or from home. There is then the option of carrying out an exam with certification online," explains Winkler. The Garanta Academy seminars are calculated at cost price and can be attended at low course fees.
