Seven new certified dent technicians in Austria

In recent years, damage caused by hail has increased significantly. The Federal Guild of Vehicle Technicians is therefore increasingly committed to training dent technicians.

At the end of March, seven new dent technicians were able to successfully complete the certification process at a high quality level, just in time for the hail season. In order to carry out the practical and theoretical test independently and objectively, the SV-Union – an association of court-sworn and certified automotive experts – was recruited as the testing authority.

“Due to increasingly complex vehicle designs, a high level of qualification for dent technicians is essential,” says Manfred Kubik, Federal Guild Master Deputy of the Federal Guild of Vehicle Technicians. "With our certification program for dent technicians, we meet the demands of the market. This is confirmed by the high level of interest in this program."

In addition to the initial certification, certified dent technicians already operating on the market use the option of mandatory re-certification.
