The complexity of modern motor vehicles, due to the increased use of networked electronic systems, requires constant further training. Maintenance and repair work is often only possible using current test and diagnostic systems, and troubleshooting is challenging. Automotive workshops that reliably master modern vehicle technology and can diagnose and repair errors effectively and quickly have a competitive advantage today. In order to respond to this trend, Bosch is offering a training course to become a diagnostic technician. “Over 22 training days, the automotive technicians are taught how to effectively use diagnostic technology and the Bosch workshop software ESI[tronic], and the content also includes how to deal confidently with workshop customers,” explains Helmut Stuphann, sales manager at Bosch Automotive Aftermarket Austria. The first participants successfully completed the training in July.
