Companies that train apprentices should receive more money. The turquoise-green government recently announced this.
More money for apprenticeship training
Companies that hire apprentices between March 16 and October 31, 2020 will receive a bonus of 2,000 euros per trainee. The money will flow in two tranches: 1,000 euros at the start of the apprenticeship, a further 1,000 euros if the apprentice is retained after the probationary period. The bonus is also paid if the company takes on apprentices from an inter-company training workshop during the first year of training. If the apprenticeship relationship is terminated during the probationary period, the first tranche must be repaid.
