At the beginning of the winter semester, Lexus Austria launched aLexus UX 250h Executiveto theHTL Mödling, Vehicle Technology Department. The HTL Mödling is a vocational secondary school (higher technical college) with an attached research institute (HTBLuVA) in Mödling (Lower Austria) and, with around 3,500 students, is one of the largest schools in Europe.
“We are very pleased about the Lexus UX, which as a full hybrid is a technical trendsetter and allows us to make our lessons even more practical and in tune with the times,”saysHannes Sauerzopf, director of the HTL Mödling, during the vehicle handover.
"For us, practical training is of great interest, as we constantly need highly qualified employees in our area, such as the graduates of the HTL Mödling. Highly qualified technicians are in great demand at Toyota, both nationally and internationally,"saysSebastian Scheibl, Head of Aftersales at Toyota/Lexus Austria and adds:“We also wish the young technicians a lot of joy in screwdriving.”
