Training vehicles for Viennese apprentices
On January 30, 2025, the ceremonial handover of a Renault Kangoo Van E-Tech Electric and modern KTM bicycles took place, which will be available for practical lessons in the future. Vocational school director Ernst Bauer thanked the representatives of Renault Austria for their commitment to training young drivers. “The new training vehicle will give our students valuable practical experience and prepare them optimally for modern vehicle technology,” says Bauer. Gregor Förster, Head of Technology at Renault Österreich GmbH, emphasized the importance of electromobility: “With this training vehicle, we want to offer the students the best conditions for their future.”
Innovations on board
The Renault E-Tech Electric is a fully electric, sustainable commercial vehicle specially developed for urban and commercial use. With a powerful 45 kWh battery, it offers a range of up to 285 km (according to WLTP). Thanks to the fast charging function, the battery can be charged for a distance of 170 km in just 27 minutes. In addition, the innovative braking energy recovery ensures even more efficient use of energy. With these properties, the vehicle enables students to learn practically in a future-oriented technology area.
