The new Viennese automotive elite

The Vienna Chamber of Commerce is setting new standards in continuing vocational training by introducing exclusive expert courses for the most talented apprentices in the areas of automotive technology and body construction. The courses run for ten months and are held at the mobility campus of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce. Georg Ringseis, guild master of Vienna Vehicle Technology: "This initiative aims to specifically support young specialists through additional training days that take place once a month on a Friday and Saturday. The free expert courses, which run for ten months and take place at the mobility campus of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, are designed to not only provide apprentices with in-depth technical knowledge, but also to prepare them for state and federal championships."

Led by experts, the courses offer a mix of practical workshops and innovative training. Participants can delve deeper into special techniques such as engine mechanics, brake line production and electronic diesel control for automotive technicians or straightening work on sheet metal, welding techniques and painting techniques for body builders. These practical units are designed to sharpen apprentices' skills so that they can significantly increase the quality and efficiency of their daily work.

“In addition to the high-quality educational offering, the apprentices also have the opportunity to expand their professional network and learn from the best in the industry,” says Ringseis: “This represents a unique opportunity to take professional skills to the next level and thus significantly influence their professional careers.” In recognition of their commitment and achievements, the best apprentices also have the opportunity to be nominated to take part in the upcoming state championships in the fall. Ringseis: "These courses are not only an investment in the technical skills of the apprentices, but also promote their personal development and prepare them to take on future leadership roles in their industry. With this program, the Vienna Chamber of Commerce underlines its commitment to promoting excellent vocational training and strengthening Vienna as a business location."
