Banner is a Top Employer”
Claudia Gerstl, Head of Human Resources Management at Banner, emphasizes: “The satisfaction of our employees is an essential cornerstone of our success.” The Linz-based battery manufacturer attaches great importance to training young talent. In order to build relationships with potential employees in advance of a permanent position, the company maintains close cooperation with higher technical schools. Thesis topics are assigned and internships are offered to give students valuable insights into the industry. In addition, in cooperation with the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce, the company offers a trainee program for AHS graduates with a focus on mechatronics.
Banner is also involved in adult education and enables unemployed people to receive training as skilled workers through the AQUA program (job-related qualification) together with the AMS and the state of Upper Austria. New employees are successfully integrated into the company through tailor-made training programs. In addition to individual and group appointments for newcomers, Banner also offers e-learning courses that enable all employees to have the same level of knowledge. In addition, the Banner Group offers a variety of attractive benefits that are continually adapted to the needs of employees. Climate-friendly mobility is offered through the discounted purchase of a company bike, free fruit and mineral water, flexible working hours with a home office option, a holiday care program for young talent as well as regular company celebrations and team events. The high popularity of these offers is reflected in almost 70 company bikes purchased and a home office usage rate of around 60% (as of September 2023 - Leonding headquarters). It's no wonder that Banner was named Top Employer 2022 by the business magazine Trend in cooperation with kununu and Statista.
