Award for Gady Family
On March 18, 2024, the Gady Family was honored with the Austrian federal coat of arms as a “state-awarded training company” by Martin Kocher, Federal Minister of Labor and Economic Affairs. On the occasion of this award, Philipp Gady, owner and managing director of the Gady Family, was able to immortalize his signature in the Golden Book of the WKO Styria at the celebratory reception. President Josef Herk personally presented Philipp Gady with the pen for the entry in the Erzherzog-Johann-Saal in Graz. The WKO Golden Book stands for outstanding Styrian companies and entrepreneurial personalities who have made outstanding contributions to the concerns of the economy and people with their commitment and tireless commitment. "The Gady Family - a family-run model company in Styria - is an outstanding example of how excellent apprentice training not only secures skilled workers for the future, but also makes a valuable contribution to strengthening Styria as a business location," says WKO Styria President Josef Herk. "We have been setting standards in apprentice training for years and are investing intensively in our skilled workers of tomorrow," says Philipp Gady, visibly proud.
In 1936 Franz Gady founded a bicycle shop in Lebring. The third generation also feels committed to traditional values such as trust, tradition, pride and performance. Today, the southern Styrian family business combines twelve locations in Styria, three locations in Burgenland and two locations in Lower Austria. The Gady Family is one of the leading car dealerships in southeast Austria, one of the most important agricultural machinery dealers in the country, organizer of one of the largest private folk festivals and operator of the Schlosskeller Südsteiermark - a traditional inn on the Seggauberg in Leibnitz. The legendary Gady Market attracts up to 20,000 visitors to Lebring in southern Styria twice a year. The Gady Family is led by owner and managing director Philipp Gady, managing director Eugen Roth and managing director Werner Walter. The company employs around 500 people. Around 80 apprentices are currently being trained.
