The Automotive Academy is again offering high-voltage courses. They are essential for working on electric vehicles.

The high-voltage training in the modern training center of the Automotive Academy (at the mobility campus of the Vienna State Guild) is aimed at companies that carry out work on vehicles with high-voltage systems and their components. The training equips companies and their employees to work safely on vehicles with high-voltage systems.
In autumn 2022 there will be courses for HV2 (working on the high-voltage system in a de-energized state) on November 3rd & 4th and HV3 (working under voltage on the energy storage of electrically powered road vehicles with high-voltage systems) on November 21st & 22nd. Registration for the courses takes place via the Automotive Academy website: akademie.automotive.at
The contents of this course are:
- Elektrische Grundlagen in der Fahrzeugtechnik
- Systemkenntnisse über Bauteile, Aufbau und Funktion und Sicherheitseinrichtungen des Hochvoltsystems.
- Funktionsweise des konventionellen Bordnetzes und Verknüpfung mit dem Hochvoltsystem.
- Allgemeiner Schutz und Schutzmaßnahmen
- Rechtliche Grundlagen
- Praktisches Vorgehen bei Arbeiten an Hochvolt-Fahrzeugen und –Systemen
After this seminar, the participants will be able to independently disconnect vehicles with high-voltage systems from the power supply, apply the correct measures to prevent them from being switched on again and determine the absence of voltage. You know the structure, how the high-voltage system works and how it is linked to the conventional on-board electrical system.
The content of this course is based on HV-2.

In this seminar, participants acquire the necessary knowledge for live work on the energy storage of electrically powered road vehicles with high-voltage systems, know how to regulate safety-related organization and communication when working under live voltage, and can independently create work instructions.
