“With the Athena Prize, the Federal Automotive Engineering Guild wants to publicize the extraordinary achievements of apprentices and thus increase the image of apprenticeship training in Austria,” informs BIM Josef Harb. Since 2014, the Federal Automotive Technology Guild has annually awarded the Athena Prize to an apprentice for extraordinary achievements such as social responsibility, civil courage, humanity, etc. In addition to a certificate and a statue, the winner receives a commitment from the Federal Automotive Engineering Guild to cover the costs of further training to become a master automotive technician. The official award ceremony will take place on October 22, 2020 in the Vienna Hofburg.
